Familiar Benefits As long as her familiar Nevermore is within reach, Zhaji has the benefits of the Alertness feat (already figured into the statistics above), and the following additional benefits. Empathic Link (Su): Zhaji can communicate telepathically with Nevermore at a distance of up to 1 mile. She has the same connection to a person, item or a place that Nevermore does, for the purpose of scrying or teleportation. Share Spells: Zhaji may have any spell she casts on herself also affect Nevermore if the latter is within 5 feet at the time. She may also cast a spell with a target of "You" on her familiar. Touch: Nevermore can deliver touch spells for Zhaji. The armor bearing this crystal does not impose an Armor Check penalty on Swim checks. Additionally, the wearer gains a Swim speed equal to half her land speed (round down to nearest 5') and takes no penalties for attacks or movement under water (as by freedom of movement) and can breathe water as easily as air (as by water breathing).
